yes, that’s right we are going to Cancun in the same hotel again. that how much we liked the service. we are going for thanksgiving.this tie i hope i dont get sick so i can enjoy myself a litle better than last time. i’ll write about it when we get back

I’m in fifth grade and I’m the oldest in the school which is so so so cool!!!!

I just came back from Cancun and I absolutely loved it! It was so hot but there where no mosquitoes. But unfortunately I got sick for 3 days out of the ten we were there. The plane ride there was 5 hours. We were on jet blue so i got to watch TV. I saw the movie 17 again. It was pretty good. When we got to Cancun it was so so so hot! We stayed in a Westin resort and spa. It was nice! We wanted to have a balcony though so we moved from floor 5 to 6. I had to share a room with Otto and then across the hall was my mom and dad. We got a view and saw water-boarders in the lagoon. My parents could see the ocean and the main pool. There were 6 pools and a very warm ocean. The main pool had a bar so you could drink a soda or something in the water! Then there was another bar on land. Then for breakfast you could sit outside or in. There was a giant breakfast buffet with an omelet bar and everything! The first two days we were there we just stayed and relaxed. Then that’s when i got sick. I threw up and couldn’t sleep. I also had a fever. so my parents and Otto had to stay at the hotel for three more days to relax. Otto got to scuba dive in a reef. When I got better I got to go snorkeling. It was so fun. But Otto’s mask kept leaking so he didn’t have as much fun as me. i feel bad for him. also we went to Chichen itza and i was sweating so much because it was about 95 degrees out. the ride there was about 2 hours so on the way back we stopped at this place here you could go swimming in a lake sort of thing and there was a zip line i went on a million times. it was so so so fun! on the last day there the ocean was so nice back at the hotel. then on the plane ride back we had to take 2 plane rides on the same flight and the t.v.s were not working so i was really bored. when i got back home i wanted to go back to Mexico. i had so much fun!

its summer! its summer! next year ill be in 5th grade with Mrs. Lerra

I’m in St. Martin right now and it is so so so hot!! St. Martin is divided into two parts. One half is Dutch and the other half is French. Some people say that the French sides roads ar smoother. I think their right.

Anyway we arived safely in St. Martin on the 16th. I was amazed at our condo that we rented. It had 2 floors, top floor was master bedroom with little balcony, sencond floor had the kitchen and t.v. room and the main balcony AND our (Otto and me) bedroom.Outside of our main balcony is a swimming pool 5 feet deep everywhere. Also we can see the blue ocean. When I figured out that we had an ocean right in front of us, I went swimming. But the problem isthat there are rocks really close to the sand part of the beach so you can’t go that far if you don’t want to hit rocks. So I just went where there were no rocks. 

Where we are staying there is also a dog named Simpson ( after the beach I guess). He is really fat and cute. Alll the condos have dog food so the guests can feed him. He is so nice and protects our place.

The next day we drove around the island. It was soooooo boring. We stoped every 5 minutes to look at beaches and go shopping for my parents. But that night we went to this crepe (thin, flat pancakes) place. The food was so so so so good. I had a crepe with strawberrys and a scoop of cookies and cream gelato (italian icecream) right in the center. Otto had a lemon sugar crepe with a scoop of passion fruit gelato.

One day we found a very calm beach. We all called it baby beach because it was full of babies. But it was good for snorkeling and my parents let me go all around by myself and I felt really independent.  I saw a ton of fish.

 The following day we went to an open air market. It was hard to find parking, so Dad double parked while Mom and I went to find some fresh fruit. The fruit was not that great and we ended up buying some old garlic from China from an old Haitian woman.  The rest of the afternoon we stayed home and relaxed.

 For the next two days we did not even get into the car, we just stayed home. I learned to play solitaire and got addicted to playing it. Our parents taught us the card game Hearts as well.

One day we went to Phillipsburg where all the big Cruise ships come. It is a a really active town with lots of jewelry stores. Otto got a free Gemstone and I was jealous. But mom did buy me a really pretty sun dress.

 Now today we went to HAppy Beach. Oh my it was so hot and we actually got a bit sun burnt. Now Mom is unhappy.

 Now I think I will go to the pool for the twenty millionth time. Yeah I LOVE TROPICAL VACATIONS!

I got a wii. I got a wii. I GOT A WII FOR CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry I’m so crazy its just I got a wii for Christmas and I love it so much. My dad also got Guitar Hero(World Tour!!),the wii attachments (the wii racket ext…) AND wii sports. got to go play wii.
